Thank you for your patience while we assessed how the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID19) might affect our Vipassana course program. Many universities and schools have closed, states of emergency have been declared, and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommended social distancing and the avoidance of large gatherings. Consequently, we are compelled to cancel all courses through the end of April 2020.
We also have to cancel the service periods associated with those courses and the one-day course.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation and will rely on the guidance of the CDC and local health agencies. We will also keep informed anyone registered to meditate or serve in an upcoming course.
We deeply regret this decision. We have taken it on the recommendation of medical professionals. There are no confirmed cases of COVID19 on our campus, among our past students or in the surrounding area. Nevertheless, our first duty is to protect the health of everyone coming to our center, and to safeguard the wider community.
We plan to restart courses as soon as we can safely do so. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. We may not be able to respond right away, but we will try.
All good wishes,
